CastleBranch Bridges Has Shut Down. Here's What Your Program Does Now.

Updated July 2026

If your nursing or allied health program used CastleBranch Bridges (Bridges EXP) to track student clinical compliance, the platform is gone: per public announcements, new orders ended May 30, 2026, and Bridges ceased operations on June 30, 2026. That timing lands in the middle of summer planning, which means fall cohorts need a working replacement before clinical placements begin. This page covers what changed, a transition checklist, and how Drug Free Schools moves programs onto a live portal in 24–48 hours.

What actually changed

Two separate things happened to the CastleBranch product family. First, the Bridges EXP clinical experience platform was retired, with the system going offline June 30, 2026. Second, CastleBranch's screening services were sold to DISA Global Solutions and now operate under DISA Healthcare, the same company that runs the Complio platform. Programs that relied on Bridges for compliance tracking now need a new home for that work, and programs evaluating the screening side are working with a different corporate owner than the one they originally signed with.

Your transition checklist

How Drug Free Schools handles a Bridges transition

Drug Free Schools has provided compliance screening for health science programs since 1995. We're a family-owned company, and the same team that configures your portal answers your phone calls afterward.

Live in 24–48 hours

Send us your program list, requirements, due dates, expirations, and review criteria, and your portal is configured and live within 24–48 hours — with email and SMS reminders switched on for students from day one.

Humans review every document

Students upload from their phones; trained staff review every submission within 24 hours and return specific, plain-English rejection reasons so students can fix problems the first time. Directors see real-time compliance status without chasing paperwork.

Screening and tracking under one roof

Drug testing (on-site collection events at campuses across the country — strongest in the Southeast and Midwest — plus nationwide collection through the Quest network), Checkr-powered background checks, immunization tracking, and N95 fit testing — one vendor, one portal, one point of contact.

Simple terms

Unlimited administrator and faculty accounts at no charge, no long-term contracts, and volume pricing for larger programs.
